The Jamie Chadwick Series has been nominated in the β€˜most inspiring campaign’ category at the Race Media Awards 2025.
Jamie’s groundbreaking grassroots initiative launched last year, with the aim of increasing female participation in karting.
It has been a remarkable success, with over 450 girls taking part in the inaugural competition, run in partnership with Daytona Motorsport.
The series has resulted in a 1900% increase in female competitive racing at Daytona circuits, as well as a 700% increase in endurance racing entries and an 400% uptick in casual participation, with 200% more girls trying out racing for the first time.
That eye-catching impact has attracted the attention of the Race Media Awards, which recognises creative excellence, genuine impact and global influence in motorsport.
Their β€˜most inspiring campaign’ award acknowledges campaigns that have raised awareness and brought about change within motorsport and the wider community.
We’ll find out if the Jamie Chadwick Series has picked up the prize on Wednesday 29th January, during an awards ceremony at London’s Plaisterers’ Hall.
In the meantime, you can find out more information about the female-only karting championship here.
