Jamie will be taking part in the first-ever dedicated FIA women’s test session tomorrow.
Here’s everything you need to know about the historic event…
Moved to Madrid
The 2024 Formula E Women’s Test was due to take place at Valencia’s Circuit Ricardo Tormo, but the devastating recent flooding in the area has led to a change in location.
It will now be held at the Circuito del Jarama in Madrid, starting at 1pm GMT / 2pm local time on Friday 8th November.
Set for speed
Jamie will be driving the new GEN3 Evo race car in the Spanish capital, ahead of its use in this season’s Formula E.
The car is eye-wateringly fast and can go from 0-60 mph in just 1.82 seconds, which is 30% faster than anything in F1!
Teaming up with Jaguar
Tomorrow afternoon’s test will see Jamie represent Jaguar TCS Racing — and it will not be the first time that she has done so.
The 26-year-old previously teamed up with Jaguar in 2020, at the Marrakesh Rookie Test.
She’ll be lining up alongside Ferrari factory driver Lilou Wadoux on this occasion, as well as another 17 elite female racers from across the globe.
What else is going on?
There will also be a host of media activities taking place in Madrid, including interviews, press conferences and content production.
