The curtain is set to come down on the inaugural Jamie Chadwick Series โ but not before Saturdayโs finale in Buckinghamshire.
This weekendโs event is the championshipโs eighth round, following races at Daytonaโs Sandown Park, Tamworth and Milton Keynes sites.
Competitors will be heading to the latter of those venues once again, to take part in what promises to be another action-packed day of karting.
The previous round saw Lily Jeffs claim victory in the SODI category โ securing her second consecutive Sandown Park triumph in the process.
She leads the way in the SODI standings, but perhaps the most intriguing battle on Saturday will come in the DMAX category.
Rhianna Purcocks currently occupies top spot after her victory in Round 7, but sheโs just three points ahead of Amelia Wolf once drop rounds are taken into account.
Thereโs plenty on the line, then, as this yearโs female-only karting competition nears its conclusion.
But the Jamie Chadwick Series is about more than simply crowning champions, of course.
It is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at increasing female participation in grassroots motorsport, by removing some of the barriers that often stop women from taking part.
